Liz Ward
COACH & Facilitator
Liz is an Executive and Leadership coach, Principal Lecturer and consultant to Health and Social Care organisations. Having held senior leadership positions within the Healthcare sector, she has spent her career building and leading high performing, collaborative teams.
Through years spent leading operational and programme leadership teams working across Health and Care, Liz developed a passion for people and team development. Liz is passionate about supporting people to grow, to thrive and to be their authentic selves.
As a Principal Lecturer in Leadership Development, Liz is an expert in leadership theory and its practical application which underpins her work in leadership development and coaching.
Liz’s work is underpinned by the Co-Active principles that people are naturally creative, resourceful and whole and therefore able to navigate their way to the life they wish to lead. Liz sees her main role as a coach as being to listen with great empathy, attention and fascination, to allow her clients the space to think and explore what they want for their career and life, and to support and challenge them, to move out of their comfort zone towards the future that they desire.
Outside of work, Liz enjoys long walks in the country, eating out, graphic design, the theatre, swimming and spending time with her family. She can often be found playing pet hotels with her very imaginative daughter!
