Meg Whelan

Coach & Actor

Meg has over 30 years' experience in the Learning and Development field as a facilitator, executive coach and designer of interactive drama-based training. She has also worked in theatre and theatre-in-education as an actor, writer and artistic director.

Over this time, she has acquired a huge range of knowledge and techniques to help people increase their skills and confidence. She is happy working with people at any stage in their career - including at board level. She's an encouraging and positive coach, supportive when necessary and challenging where appropriate. In addition to working 1:1 as a coach, she has designed and delivered numerous group coaching programmes for clients.

Meg is passionate about helping people realise their potential and gets massive job satisfaction for seeing them expand their horizons, develop new good habits and reduce blocks to success. And she firmly believes the process should be as enjoyable as possible!

In addition to Management and Leadership coaching, she uses her theatre training and background to provide voice coaching to individuals and groups to help them maximise impact when giving presentations.

Meg has worked with clients throughout the UK and internationally; in North and South America, Europe, Africa and Asia. Recent contracts have included work for Medtronic; Oxford University Press, West Midlands Combined Authority, London Midland Trains, GE, University of the West of England, BBC, Fisher and Paykel, Armstrong Watson, Kreston International, and many others.

She writes for the theatre whenever she can and acts when time allows. When not at work, she'll most likely be reading, walking up a mountain (slowly) or travelling.
