Paul White

Facilitator & Coach

The development of people completely fascinates Paul. 'Computer programmers are able to alter the performance of software with a few lines of code but what could be more rewarding than helping an individual or group of people to re-programme their 'software' to think and act differently?' he asks. Paul finds the idea of helping people to be better at what they do completely absorbing.

Twenty-five years ago, an idea shared with two colleagues led to the biggest sale of their year and simultaneously sparked a career focused on understanding and improving people's performance.

From his early successes as a corporate trainer, to managing Learning & Development teams and ultimately moving into performance analysis and coaching, Paul has spent thousands of hours listening to people to understand what they do and why and working with them on options to move towards their goals.

Over the years Paul has developed a real talent for understanding the source of behaviour and dealing with the limiting beliefs that often hold us back. Sometimes the questions he asks can be uncomfortable but, in his experience, real progress rarely happens unless we're prepared to talk openly and confidentially about the barriers we create for ourselves.

But, it's not just about challenging others for Paul. Each year he loves to challenge himself. Whether that's cycling from John O'Groats to Lands' End or completing an Ironman triathlon, nothing makes him happier than the physical pain of stretching himself to the limit.

There's always more inside of us and, with the right help and support, he's found that quite extraordinary things are possible.
