Stefano Olmeti is a global executive coach and leadership development facilitator who combines an astute intellect with emotional honesty and down to earth pragmatism.

Drawing on his accomplishments as an executive in multi-stakeholder, expert-driven organisations, Stefano works with leaders and teams all over the world to help them achieve robust, healthy results for themselves, their organisations and their communities. He has delivered 2000+ coaching hours to clients from 50+ nationalities across industries (International development, Pharma, Telecom, Food, Financial, etc.).

Clients have described his coaching approach as results-driven, impactful and compassionate. His common coaching themes revolve around executive leadership competencies, managing complex transitions, navigating ambiguity, leading change, solving wicked problems and inventing the future.

Stefano became a full time executive coach after being Global Coaching manager at the World Bank Group in Washington DC, where he directed a cadre of 60+ international coaches to deliver 1,000+ executive coaching engagements worldwide. Previously, he served as Head of Learning and Development at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development in London (UK) and as a professor of management at Bocconi University.

Before relocating to Europe in 2021, Stefano founded and ran Elm Leadership; a boutique global firm based in San Diego, California. He now partners with like-minded organisations to deliver value globally. Stefano earned his Masters and PhD in Business Administration in Italy and became a certified coach in London. He holds the PCC (Professional Certified Coach) credential from the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and is certified in administering several psychometric assessments, including Hogan Leadership Forecast, the Leadership Circle Profile and the Focus Energy Balance Indicator (FEBI).
